J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions has reportedly made a deal to develop Rod Serling’s final unproduced screenplay, The Stops Along the Way, as a miniseries. Serling, best known as the writer, producer, and host of the classic television series The Twilight Zone, died in 1975 before the screenplay was put onto the screen. Serling originally envisioned The Stops Along the Way as a miniseries and is described by Serling’s widow, Carol Serling, as “one of my husband’s favorite pieces.”
