Worlds Apart: A Film About a Boy’s Lost Teddy Bear

by Kenny Hoeschen

Worlds Apart is a short film, directed by Michael Zachary Huber and is the second film created by Cogswell College’s elite Project X animation studio. The animators and effects artists on Worlds Apart were talented young students enrolled in Project X at Cogswell.

The film tells the story of a young boy’s teddy bear, which is accidentally left abandoned when the child leaves home due to extreme pollution of the Earth’s atmosphere. The teddy bear is discovered by an alien species millennia in the future and they are able to discern the bear’s past through some advanced technology. Fortunately, the teddy bear goes on to become another child’s favorite toy.
