After Earth: Bird Fight Trailer

Bird and cats have been sworn enemies ever since Sylvester chased Tweety. This new clip from M. Night Shyamalan’s After Earth again demonstrates this age-old rivalry, this time with Kitai (Jaden Smith) caught in the middle. Kitai, who has been tasked with retrieving a beacon needed to save himself and his father, Cypher (played by Jaden’s father, Will Smith) after the pair crashes to Earth 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. In this clip, Kitai battles highly evolved cats who are trying to steal eggs from some giant eagle-like birds.

After Earth will be in theaters on May 31.
