New Star Wars Animated Series: Star Wars Rebels

Lucasfilm Animation’s new animated television series, Star Wars Rebels, has been officially approved for broadcast by Disney. The series premieres on the Disney Channel before it becomes a regular series on Disney XD. Pablo Hidalgo interviews executive producer Dave Filoni to discuss the series. The story precedes Star Wars Episode IV. Among other big names, Kilian Plunkett, who worked on The Clone Wars is on board as the Art Director and Joel Aron as CG Supervisor.

The series will air beginning in the Fall of 2014.
