Detroit Erecting 10 Foot Tall RoboCop Statue

Thanks to over $67,000 in Kickstarter pledges, the city of Detroit is going to erect a 10 foot tall RoboCop statue. The statue is currently in production, with RoboCop being scanned, digitally enlarged, fabricated and assembled in foam, wax, clay and steel, as pictured here. The next step is sending the fabrication to Venus Bronze Works in Detroit for casting in bronze.

Perhaps the backers should consider placing this 10 foot tall RoboCop 2 ED-209 Combat Unit nearby.
