Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977) Trailer

Monster Island News has been covering some of Ray Harryhausen’s classic movies, in honor of his recent passing. We previously shared a bit about 20 Million Miles to Earth and now we’ve got some behind-the-scenes information and the official trailer for Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (starring a young Jane Seymour and John Wayne’s son, Patrick, as Sinbad). Released in 1977, the film was Harryhausen’s most expensive to date at $7 million. He spent 1 1/2 years on the animation for the film in his own home studio, including the iconic troglodyte. Monster Island News also shares a few “errors” that appear in the film such as Zabid’s eye patch changing from one side to the other on occasion and Zenobia seen wearing shoes instead of having a bird’s claw on her right foot.
