Mr. Jones Time Traveller Watch
May 10th, 2013

Although there are a lot of problems with time travel, if you choose to venture forth anyway, don’t leave without this Time Traveller watch from Mr. Jones Watches. The watch is not truly intended for aspiring Doctors Who, but rather allows you to see the time all over the world at a glance. The watch uses 16 landmark buildings to mark the time in different regions. For example, Big Ben indicates the current time in London while the Statue of Liberty shows the time in New York City.
Since the watch shows time around the world simultaneously, it uses a 24-hour dial. The top half of the watch shows 6:00 am – 6:00 pm and the lower half of the watch 6:00 pm – 6:00 am. You can see a short video of the watch in motion here.
Time Traveller is available in an edition of 100 pieces, each watch is numbered on the case back and comes with a signed certificate from the designer. The watch comes packed in an MJW box which features a newly commissioned artwork by illustrator Fanny Shorter. Inspired by the 24 hour mechanism, Fanny’s artwork shows the life cycle of the Mayfly which takes just 24 hours.
