Creating the World of Oblivion
April 23rd, 2013Director Joe Kosinski, lead graphics animator David “dlew” Lewandowski, and design director Bradley “Gmunk” Munkowitz take us behind the scenes on the making of Oblivion. Taking the cast to Iceland gave Kosinki the ability to allow the actors to touch and interact with the environment rather than doing everything through CGI. Lewandowski discusses the interactive interface that was created for Victoria’s light table, instead post production. And Gmunk designed the interface for the futuristic interfaces.
