100 Days of Death: The Graphic Novel
April 12th, 2013World renowned comic legend Tommy Castillo, who has worked on projects such as Batman Detective; Legends of the Dark Knight, Toe Tags with George Romero, Alice in Wonderland, King Kong and The Darkside of Oz, teams with Ray Ellingsen to rework Ellingsen’s novel 100 Days of Death into a four issue graphic novel.
The story involves a man and his dog as they journey through a world devastated by an apocalyptic virus that has destroyed humanity in just a few short months. The Dead have risen to consume what’s left of mankind. Castillo will not only draw the graphic novel but will also adapt the tale to fit his vision.
A Kickstarter pledge of just $5 will get you a downloadable version of the 100 Days of Death novel; for $79 you get the paperback edition of the novel and the graphic novel plus other goodies including a 20 minute Skype date with Ray Ellingsen and Kim Poirier of Dawn of the Dead. We think the best move is to pledge $699 or more and be featured as a comic character in the graphic novel. You may get to see your own brains eaten by zombies before chapter 3, but your brief moment in the spotlight would be worth it!
