Shelved: A Short Film About Two Total Losers

Auckland’s Media Design School created this short, amusing film that tells the story of two robots working in a warehouse. Turns out a couple of the robots are being replaced by humans, of all things!

Eleven Media Design School students spent 12 weeks in production, 5,460 hours of rendering and 6,300 hours of work to achieve the five minutes of animation. We love the animation style and see if you can catch the red Swingline stapler — perhaps a nod to Office Space? Be sure to watch the credits for some interesting “making of” bits also.
