Earth’s Close Encounters with Asteroids

Simon Scarr has created this infographic showing all asteroids that have crossed within one Lunar Distance of Earth since 1900 and projected forward to 2200. The set is comprised of 1999 historical and projected passes. The objects are arranged vertically by the closeness to Earth. Those shown in white are historical and those in orange are forecast.
