Visual.ly has done a sort of Drake Equation that looks at the odds any one of us existing in our current form. Starting with the chance that your father would ever meet your mother, to the odds that your specific sperm would be the one to fertilize your particular egg, to the far-fetched chance that all your ancestors leading to your mother and father lived long enough to reproduce. I think you can see where this is leading; from a statistical standpoint, you simply don’t exist.
