Progress on the Full Scale Millennium Falcon Project
February 7th, 2013

Chris Lee’s quest to build a full (1:1) scale Millennium Falcon seems to be moving along nicely. Lee already owns an 88 acre tract of wooded land where the construction will take place. The final dimensions will be 114 feet in length, 81.5 feet beam, and a body height of nearly 25 feet.
He’s hoping that, with a 400′ x 400′ clearing prepared for the Falcon, the completed spacecraft will be visible on Google Earth and Google Maps. For more details and photos, follow the progress on Lee’s site and show your support by purchasing a “Hear me baby? Hold together…” t-shirt. The guy is certainly ambitious and the work so far looks great. Of course, I’m just saying that because he was able to build that Quad Gun, so we think it’s best just to not mess with him.
