The BBC has put together a timeline of various expert predictions of what is most likely (and less likely) to happen over the next century. According to the experts, the BBC gives even odds to Facebook no longer being the biggest social network by the year 2015. Within ten years, there is a 6:4 chance that bionic eyes will be available for purchase (I’m looking at you, Steve Austin). Sadly, the chance of a base on Mars within the next 50 years is only 33:1.
